SEASON ONE, Episode #4

Sonny gets upset when she doesn't get any fan mail, causing her to write herself a fan letter. Marshall decides to invite Sonny's "first fan" on the set. Sonny disguises herself as Eric, her "fan", but later finds out that she has been getting fan mail; Tawni was hiding it all from her. Tawni discovers that Eric is really Sonny and suggests that he come on the show to Marshall. Sonny has to try to cover it up, but is saved by Chad (who is on their set for a movie); he dresses up as Eric to save her embarrassment. Nico and Grady try to uncover the mysterious package that belongs to Zora.

There is a very sweet/humorous "Channy" moment in this episode. After Chad realizes that Sonny was "Weird Beard Eric," she explains to him why she did it. After his usual arrogance Sonny claims, "You're unbelievable, I really thought we were having a moment." Chad then asks Sonny what she's going to do and she says knows he doesn't care, but she does, and heads for the stage. Once "Eric" is called onstage, Chad (in Eric's disguise) appears. Sonny asks why he is helping her and he claims that he just wanted to try on a weird beard; trying to hide the fact that he cared about Sonny's feelings.
