Sonny Munroe

The newest member of So Random!, Sonny Munroe, a replacement for the mentioned Mandy. She was discovered after a producer watched her comedy videos online and called her to Hollywood from her home in Middleton, Wisconsin to join the cast. Friendly and caring towards those around her, she is known as the nice girl of the group and does her best to help other people with their problems and achieve her dreams, earning mixed results. Sonny is friends with Nico, Grady, Zora and occasionally Tawni. She also has a love/hate relationship with Chad Dylan Cooper, but as she starts to know him better, she starts to develop a crush on Chad. Sonny never seems to notice that Chad likes her too (but Tawni does) .

Tawni Hart

A spoiled cast member of So Random!, Tawni is obsessed with fashion and becomes upset if she does not get her way. Although she dislikes Sonny at first because she doesn't want to share her spotlight, she later accepts her even though their conflicting personalities occasionally cause disagreements. She was also shown to be manipulative and cunning on several occasions including when she hid Sonny's fanmail to make it look like she didn't get any. Tawni knows that Chad likes Sonny. She is initially surprised at how good an addition Sonny was to the cast, even though she prefers not to acknowledge this fact in public. Despite their rocky beginnings, she has since begun to care about Sonny as a friend, and is often seen giving her advice. She also finds out that Sonny knows people better than Tawni thinks she does, as seen in "The Heartbreak Kids."

Chad Dylan Cooper

The teen heartthrob of Tween Weekly and MacKenzie Falls, and also the archenemy of Sonny and So Random!, though most people accuse him for being a jerk, other people think of him as cute and popular. As recently seen, he has shown his softer side to Sonny, and even the rest of the So Random! cast by helping them all break up Marshall and Bitterman. He is often seen teasing and arguing with Sonny but in most scenes where they are together he shows his softer side to her and shows that he cares about her. He's also a movie star, and a lot of times makes everything about him. He looks down on So Random!--a comedy show unlike his show MacKenzie Falls which is a drama. He often refers to So Random! as 'Chuckle City'. MacKenzie Falls have the cool crew in Hollywood. He has a love/hate relationship with Sonny, and has crush on her.

Nico Harris

One of the primary cast members of So Random!, Nico is Grady's best friend and they always make wacky things together, he always comes up with ideas that later turns crazy as it should be. He tries to impress girls in unique ways but always messes up.

Grady Mitchell

A cast member of So Random!, Grady is best friends with Nico and often plays the "thing that comes out of Nico" in the So Random! sketches, such as vomit from a baby. He is also wacky and always eager to eat. Together, he and Nico hatch plans such as making money for a gaming station by selling Tawni's things on the internet.

Zora Lancaster

The youngest cast member of So Random!( being 11), Zora has a genius IQ and is the smartest member of the group. She has a quirky personality and always seems to be up to a something suspicious, often popping up in strange places such as the air vents and inside the sarcophagus in the So Random! prop room. In her spare time, Zora is often seen scheming or building gadgets for her own amusement, the victims of her exploits usually being her fellow cast mates Nico and Grady. Despite her energetic and eccentric behavior, Zora is shown to be rather perceptive at times, yet easily mislead.
